RyzenQuiet PRO (v4.0)
A sleek, lightweight hardware monitor and power-plan manager for Windows with synchronized real-time HUD graphs, GPU power limiting & acoustic tuning, isolated live Fan RPM telemetry, and one-click CPU/GPU silent control.
Designed for creators, engineers, and gamers who want instant thermal silencing without losing performance on demand. RyzenQuiet PRO provides smooth 60-second historical performance graphs, per-core CPU heatmap inspection, Top-5 process load monitoring, official NVIDIA NVML power telemetry (Watts), GPU Power Limit & fan speed tuning (MSI Afterburner alternative), dynamic active storage throughput, real-time Fan Speed telemetry (RPM) with 3 visualization modes via an isolated background service, and modernized detachable Always-on-Top HUD modes with zero telemetry.
All subsystem graphs share a synchronized 60-second historical canvas rendered with crisp vector line curves and gradient fills:
🟢 CPU Monitor: Total CPU utilization %, dynamic clock speed (GHz), per-core thread heatmap matrix (16/32 threads), and live Top-5 Process resource consumers.
🔵 RAM Monitor: Instant Win32 GlobalMemoryStatusEx polling with Used / Total physical memory (e.g. 14.2 / 64.0 GB) with 0% CPU overhead.
🟣 GPU Monitor: High-precision GPU core load %, chip temperature (°C) with dashed line, live Power Limit & Fan RPM telemetry, and real-time Power Consumption in Watts (⚡ 136W) via official signed NVIDIA NVML.
🌸 VRAM Monitor: Dedicated video memory load % and live usage (e.g. 2.3 / 12.0 GB).
🩵 DISK Monitor (Smart Auto-Focus): Unified storage activity graph with Read / Write throughput in MB/s (R:12.4 W:45.0 MB/s). Dynamically auto-focuses on whichever drive is currently under heavy load (e.g. [Z: (games)] or [C: (Windows)]).
❄️ FAN Monitor [Addon]: Live Fan Speed telemetry in RPM with isolated background service. Features 3 visualization modes: 📈 60s History Graph with auto-scaling RPM curves, 🌀 1 Row compact spinning dynamic fan icons, and ▦ Grid multi-row cooler dashboard.
2. AMD Ryzen CPB & Precision Boost Toggle
Instantly switch between whisper-quiet computing and full multi-core performance:
Quiet Mode (99%): Disables Core Performance Boost (CPB), locking clocks to base frequency (~3.4 GHz), slashing voltages and thermals, immediately silencing CPU fans.
Normal / Boost Mode (100%): Restores full multi-core boost up to 4.9+ GHz for intensive 3D rendering, video encoding, and high-FPS gaming.
Global Hotkey (Ctrl + Alt + Q): Toggle modes from any full-screen app or game without opening the UI.
Auto-Quiet on Idle: Automatically engages Quiet Mode when no keyboard/mouse activity is detected for > 5 minutes.
3. GPU Acoustic & Power Limit Tuning (MSI Afterburner Alternative)
Software GPU power management built right into the HUD:
Watt Power Limiter: Configurable power ceiling in Watts for Silent mode, preventing GPU cooler ramp-ups under heavy 3D loads while preserving stability.
Target Acoustic Fan Speed: Set maximum fan RPM limit for ultra-quiet operation.
Separate CPU & GPU Silent Controls: Independent control buttons for CPU and GPU quiet/boost modes.
83°C Thermal Fail-Safe Guard: Automatic safety override that restores stock power if temperatures reach 83°C.
4. Isolated Fan Service & Cooler Management (Pawn.IO & LibreHardwareMonitor)
Deep hardware sensor access engineered without compromising HUD stability:
Out-of-Process Isolation: The fan monitoring engine (RyzenQuiet.FanService.exe) runs as an isolated background companion communicating via local Named Pipes with zero interference with main GUI threads.
Ring-0 Hardware Access: Powered by the modern open-source Pawn.IO kernel driver and LibreHardwareMonitor backend for motherboard Super I/O, Embedded Controller (EC), and GPU tachometer readouts.
Cooler Selection Dialog (⚙ Fans): Interactive checklist to select which fans appear on the HUD. Idle 0 RPM fans can remain selected — they seamlessly activate and report speeds when spinning up under load.
GPU Fan Spin-Up Test (⚡): Built-in 10-second pulse diagnostic to verify GPU fan tachometers, responsiveness, and acoustic profiles.
One-Click Start/Stop: Seamlessly launch or terminate the background service directly from the Settings panel with clean status dots (● Active).
5. Detachable Floating HUD / Desktop Widget
Flexibility for single or multi-monitor setups:
Docked Mode: Anchored next to the Windows system tray; smoothly slides out when clicking the tray icon and auto-hides when clicking away.
Detached Widget (⤢): Undock into an independent desktop widget with free mouse dragging, Always-On-Top (📌), adjustable opacity (40% to 100%), and persistent position memory across reboots.
6. Dynamic System Tray Badge & Smart Tooltip
Renders a live percentage badge directly onto the system tray icon (choose between CPU %, GPU %, or RAM %). Hovering provides a comprehensive multi-line status tooltip.
7. Complete Visibility Customization (⚙) & Modern Settings Dialog
Click the centered vector gear icon (⚙) to configure modules, GPU acoustic tuning, and visibility. Features full-height layout without scrollbars, native Windows drop shadow, and background dashboard dimming. All preferences saved locally in %LOCALAPPDATA%\RyzenQuietPro\settings.json.
